1973 Gibson Grabber in incredible condition!

This bass had some great modifications: A new fretless, ebony board was professionally installed. The neck and fretboard are in immaculate condition: No grooves or marks on the fretboard, no marks or dings on the sides and back of the neck. The neck is straight, the action is low, the truss rod works. No breaks or repairs. Serial number is 964095.

The body was stripped and stained a gorgeous mahogany. It was finished with nitrocellulose, so it has a vintage, satin look. There are a couple tiny marks on the bottom, near the strap peg. I tried my best to photograph them, but they're very small, and the light has to hit the guitar just right to see them.

A very nice Smith IV bridge was installed. The original, ridiculous sliding pickup was replaced with a DiMarzio "P and J" so you get some wonderful options.

I think this is the original hard shell case, but I'm not certain. A couple latches are broken and there's a tear towards the top of the case, but it very sturdy and it stays closed using the other 2 latches.

Not interested in trades. Payment through Paypal. If shipping is less than $70, I will refund the difference with shipping receipt attached.

Thanks!
