Meyer New York USA 5 LARGE Chamber Baritone Sax Mouthpiece. WITH original Meyer Bros Box, Meyer ligature, and Meyer Cap! This is a New York USA, not Bros. Marked mouthpiece, and it’s a slim profile, not the earlier wide body Meyer Bros. piece, but is clearly marked New York USA. Small surface mark on baffle, looks worse than it is, is not a scratch, feels smooth. Table mark is double stamped, and table has what I’ve seen called the “denim” finish from the factory. Slim line model body. Plays like a Meyer does, only slightly deeper sound with the large chamber. With hard reeds I can get a Mulligan sound, and with lighter reeds I can really bark! I purchased used and never used on a gig. Kept as a backup piece for a few years but it’s time thin the collection and have great mouthpieces being used instead of sitting around.
