Immaculate condition for a 31 year old amp! no electronic modifications-transformer and all components are original. This amp was completely disassembled, cleaned, and professionally serviced. All the pots and switches work great without noise, The original Celestion speaker is in great condition with no tears or signs of distress. No dust, cobwebs, or mold. No rips or tears in the grill-cloth. Original spring reverb tank. There are no broken plastic corners! Works and sounds great. In my opinion, and shared by many: this was the last of the truly great Marshall amps from a classic era.
Extremely versatile amp, great British clean tone and wonderful overdrive with plenty of gain, responsive to playing dynamics. Cleans up nicely from tweaks on the guitar's volume control. It's a great tool for any style of music from rock, blues, metal, and even jazz.
