The Hermanos Conde workshop is one of the great names in Spanish guitar making, and this 2001 AC-23 model is a signed example of their finest work. Spruce top over Indian rosewood back and sides, finished in French polish — warm, immediate, and deeply Spanish in character.
This guitar has been outfitted with a K&K passive pickup for amplification, and features a tap plate and Fustero tuners. Soulful, well-balanced, and exceptionally comfortable to play. A small repaired crack in the back is the only cosmetic blemish — the guitar plays and sounds beautifully throughout its range.
No room to lower the saddle further — the action is set optimally for comfort and tone.
