Tigers Eye Custom Crafted Slash Pro Hums Neck Railhammer Vintage on Bridge

Started playing guitars in 1963, raised on Classic Rock and Roll. Don't play often because of arthritis, but sure love to build.

Saw an interview of Jeff Beck from the mid '60s, he was so young he was playing an LP! The interviewer asked if the knobs made the tone and Jeff replied "No, the quality of the wood makes the tone" as true then as it is now. As soon as I saw this body I knew I had a tone piece. Made by Master Luthier 4 Winds out of NJ, USA.

Hard to find this type of quality, 5A+++ heavy Quilt Maple 🍁 with birds eye Maple scattered around. Stained this color I called Tiger's Eye. Thick wood, not veneer.

The very tight grain back and sides are African Mahogany which is special for its deep rather dark tone and resonance

Has the Genuine Pro Slash dual humbuckers in neck, don't confuse with other so called Slash pickups, these are authentic components done to Slash's special set up specs and signed by the Master on the back. The bridge has one of my favorite bridge pick-up in a Railhammer Vintage, Alinco ll on low 3 strings and a

Alinco 5 oversized poles on the upper 3 strings. Hard to describe what you hear, but the manufacturer describes it as having tight lows, chimey highs, and a relaxed mid range for any style of guitar. The Slash can stand on its own, and the Railhammer has its own oposite tone, then you can blend both with the Telecaster wiring. I can say that I was just getting into a little ZZ Top with a bit of gain, and mama came in and said the walls were shaking, end of session. What a blast to hook up.

The neck is a Genuine Fender Pau Ferro '60's neck which has the tight 9 1/2" radius with a thin C profile and super tapered at heal for good access to upper registers. True fret tangs, feel great to me and this my friend is a lead guitar, set to low action but fully adjustable.

Put on 9ga Fender custom lights pure nickel so you can bend the blues.

Guyker lockers for gears, comes with a Custom Gator Travel Case with airport approved locks for travel.

Just an excellent piece, feels great and very nicely contoured.

This would be a keeper for an advanced player, and a great stage guitar
