A great, intermediate to semi-pro setup that certainly can do the job in the hands of a solid player. This alto sax provides a strong, clear, balanced and straightforward sound. The octave key has been elongated on the 23 body to work with an included 62 neck, which offers significant upgrade in tone over the stock 23 neck. Also included is the very popular v1 neck, an option designed to point the instrument in the fabled Selmer direction in terms of tone and response. Great axe for an advancing high schooler, college student, or pro looking for a backup or alternative vibe. This axe has been used on live shows, concerts and recording sessions. It's a good one!
