Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker 2014 Manhattan Midnight Blue

120th Anniversary 2014 Melody Maker in a really cool and subtle blue color. Big old 50's neck, x2 P90's and of course a volume and tone for each pick-up with a 3 way pick-up switch. Really unique Melody Maker and Gibson did good with this anniversary model. Not your typical Melody Maker, a truly usable guitar. One thing that struck me with this guitar was the sustain- was not expecting it to ring so warmly and so long for just a hunk of mahogany. Has a little bit of a Tele kind of sound- kind of twangy and cool. You can play any style on it; very versatile sounding guitar. Nothing quite can give you what a pair of P90's can. I bought it new from Sweetwater in 2014, but have other things I am adding to collection and something's got to go! I've only played it out on a gig once and then played it at home, so it is in awesome condition; practically brand new. Comes with the Gibson gig bag. C'mon, $499 for a US made guitar?
