Magnatone Hurricane 1965 Sunburst

This is a vintage 1965 Magnatone Hurricane bass. This bass is all original and sounds absolutely killer. Only missing the truss rod cover. Plays comfortably with a neck profile akin to a 60's Fender Precision, and has a Micro-tilt system (through the neck plate) to get the neck angle just right. The single, single coil pickup, designed by Paul Barth of Rickenbacker fame, is hot and well balanced, and the volume and tone controls are powerful. The bridge features an adjustable mute - perfect for that thumping Motown sound. The sunburst finish is checked in a linear, wild way and looks really, really cool.  Like, really really cool.

It has been professionally set up and is currently sporting flat wounds. Ready to thump!
