The Sustainer System, now available for any solidbody guitar. The FSK-401 Sustainer by Fernandes is an electromagnetic system powered by a 9V battery. It magnetically vibrates the guitar strings once you have set them in motion, to give you nearly endless sustain and, in a second mode, to give you harmonic feedback at any volume level. What is the Fernandes Sustainer? The Fernandes Sustainer is a specially designed electronic system for electric guitar that creates controllable sustain of any single or group of notes in the instrument's sound range. This means that the string(s) will ring at constant intensity indefinitely until stopped, regardless of output and location, even if your electric guitar is not connected to an amplifier. The patented Fernandes Sustainer system generates a magnetic field causing the strings of the guitar to vibrate. Powered by a 9-volt battery, the interaction of the bridge humbucking guitar pickup, the Sustainer Circuit Board and the neck Sustainer Driver pickup, projects magnetic pulses that continuously vibrate the strings of the guitar, the same way an amplifier at extreme volume would do, yet totally controlled. The result is infinite sustain and/or feedback using sparkly clean or loud distorted settings without the need for excessive volume or extra outboard gear.

The Fernandes FSK-401-Basic Sustainer Humbucker Pickup Kit delivers the power of infinite sustain in any guitar with a neck humbucking pickup configuration.
Taking all the optional components out of the complete FSK-401 (Bridge humbucker, pickup selector switch, volume and tone pots), but with all its key features, including 3 modes (Standard, Harmonic and Mix) and Sustainer Intensity Control (Potentiometer and connectors included).
