If they came any cleaner than this, they wouldn't be 40/+ years old!!

Tried my best to photograph some impressions in the finish on the back of the resonator, but it's not easy. I took this in trade for a guitar, thinking I may learn to play banjo at some point. Brought it home, tuned up the head, learned a few licks, and decided I'm not a banjo player after all. That Noam Pikelny makes it look so easy! lol.

The photos come close, but don't quite do it justice. This is a beautiful instrument to behold. Plays very nice, keeps a good tune, and apparently the tuners have set points on them for quick detuning. I never learned how to use them, though.

I don't know much about banjos, but this one has a pretty tone. I guess arch tops tend to be more focused. I couldn't tell you if that's the case, but the tone is sweet and bell like. Hoping this instrument will find its way into the hands of someone that will love and play it.

Feel free to ask questions before bidding. Cheers!
