This is a genuine 1976 Fender Wide Range Humbucker with CuNiFe threaded magnet poles as originally designed by Seth Lover. 9.9 KOhms resistance.
This was the neck pickup in a 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom given to me in 1981. This pickup is fully functional and works as designed; it sounds awesome!
Why is it priced so low?
- It is missing the original chrome cover
- The original yellow 3M coil wrap tape fell off and has been replaced
- It is missing one pickup adjustment screw (not replaced)
- Original shielded pickup lead is 6 inches long
Two mint unused replacement pickup covers are included with this sale:
- Fender Genuine Parts chrome-plated cover with logo, on pickup but unsoldered
- Extra gold-plated cover from Philadelphia Luthier Tool & Supply
