Here’s a very rare Welson Meteor combo organ, made in Italy by Webo Electronics Co. and presented here in excellent overall condition following a recent service.

This is a wonderfully odd and characterful Italian combo organ, with a bold twin-manual layout, colourful tab presets, built-in rhythm accompaniment, and Welson’s brilliant “Magic Band” rhythm/chord section. It has exactly the sort of styling and sonic personality you want from a 1970s Italian organ: part lounge, part soundtrack machine, part strange little synth-adjacent beast.

Condition:

Overall, this is a very clean and attractive example, especially for a large vintage Italian combo organ of this age.

There are some cosmetic signs of use, including marks, small scratches, some corrosion to hardware, some rips/wear in the tolex, and general age-related wear as shown in the photos. One slider cap is missing and one foot is missing.

The lid is included and the organ presents very well overall, with a lovely clean front panel, bright tabs, and a strong visual presence.

There is still some scratchiness in a few of the sliders, which is fairly typical on instruments of this age, but nothing that stops it being a very usable and enjoyable machine. It sounds great and has loads of character.
