Inspired by one of the most legendary guitars in rock history, the Gibson Custom Shop Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul Custom recreates the iconic three-pickup “Black Beauty” famously associated with Jimmy Page during the early years of Led Zeppelin.

Finished in classic ebony with gold hardware, three pickups, and a Bigsby vibrato, this guitar captures the look, feel, and swagger of Page’s famed Les Paul Custom—an instrument deeply tied to the mythology of early Zeppelin performances and Page’s formative studio work. Page’s original Black Beauty became one of the most talked-about lost guitars in rock history after disappearing in 1970 before eventually resurfacing decades later. 

This was a limited-run Gibson Custom Shop release, making it highly desirable among collectors, Page enthusiasts, and vintage-inspired Gibson aficionados. Reports surrounding the model reference a production run of only 500 instruments, adding to its long-term collector appeal. 

Tonally, this guitar is everything you want from a Black Beauty: thick sustain, piano-like lows, articulate mids, and rich harmonic complexity. The three-pickup configuration expands the tonal palette while the Bigsby adds vintage elegance and expressive vibrato character.

This one is in wonderful shape. It might have a hint of buckle rash on the back, though it's hard to tell whats part of Gibson's aging process and whats from being nearly 20 years old.
