Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee SSS - Translucent Red - 2013 - EBMM - *Made In USA*

Hello, for sale is a lightly-played EBMM Albert Lee guitar. 

The guitar's specs are similar to those favored by Lee himself. It has a figured maple neck with maple board and three custom-wound, single-coil pickups by Seymour Duncan. To my ears the three pickups all sound pleasing. The guitar features a battery-powered “Silent Circuit” that, according to EBMM, “reduces hum and retains true single coil sound.” The finish is "Translucent Red."

The “Find Your Instrument” feature on EBMM’s website indicates that the guitar was completed on December 5, 2013.  (Full details shown in last image.)

Regarding condition, the guitar has no dings, chips, or stand rash, and no significant scratches. It is exceptionally clean. The frets show no divots and no significant wear. At the corners of the neck pocket, minor finish checks are visible upon close inspection. Faint pick traces are visible on the pickguard if one tilts the guitar and searches for them. (I've tried to capture them in one of the photos.)

The original hard-shell case has a few stray scratches. At the ends are three small cracks that the previous owner sealed with epoxy. (See photos.) The case closes crisply and retains its integrity. In my opinion, it can be used without issue.

In a nutshell, the guitar has been played only lightly and is in nice, clean condition. I will grade it “Very Good” (as opposed to “Excellent”) in view of the small finish checks and imperfect case.

This sale includes: hang tag, warranty card, pick, two case keys, the trem arm, and an unopened pack of stickers and wipes.

Using the step-on-step-off method on my home scale, the guitar weighs in at just 3.1 kg (6.8 pounds / 6 pounds 13 oz.) (Please allow for a slight margin given the weighing method.) Albert Lee models have been made with different types of wood over the years and their weights vary considerably. This example is surely at the lighter end of the weight spectrum. To me, it feels comfortable and balanced, with a light weight appropriate to the compact body size.

The guitar is from a clean, non-smoking household. I will wait to seal up the shipping box in case there are any questions.
