Since 1996, the PRS Private Stock team has represented the absolute pinnacle of guitar lutherie, and to celebrate three decades of this uncompromising craftsmanship, we are proud to offer the "Birds of a Feather" Hollowbody I. This limited edition (one of only 96 worldwide) is a masterclass in resonance, featuring a fully hollow construction with a Violin-carved Private Stock Flame Maple top and a Swamp Ash back. The stunning Frostbite Glow finish highlights the breathtaking contrast between the rich Gaboon ebony and the natural flame maple, extending all the way to the neck and fretboard.

Musically, this instrument marks a historic first for the Hollowbody platform: the introduction of PRS TCI pickups. These pickups are meticulously tuned to deliver the full-bodied punch of a humbucker while retaining the expressive, articulate clarity found in legendary single-coil designs. To further expand your sonic palette, the guitar features Paul Reed Smith’s favorite mini-toggle EQ switches. Originally seen on the John McLaughlin signature model, these switches act as tuned high-pass filters to remove low-end "mud" and let those sweet, musical highs sing through with clarity.

The visual centerpiece is the 10th-anniversary "Birds of a Feather" inlay, designed by Private Stock head Paul Miles. This specific limited run features a "reverse" design where stained maple birds take flight from the base of the fingerboard into an ebony sky.
