Guitar Of The Week #38: The SG Classic Custom has arrived.

This model is the 38th in a series launched in 2007 under the name "Guitar Of The Week," which released 400 limited-edition guitars each week featuring unique specifications not found in the standard lineup at the time.

Featuring a deep "Aged Cherry" finish and a white large pickguard, it boasts "Custom" specifications such as split diamond inlays on the headstock, an ebony fingerboard with block position marks, and gold hardware. Its appearance is reminiscent of the guitar once used by AC/DC's Angus Young, making it a truly captivating instrument.

The nut width is approximately 43mm, and the neck features a classic SG-style 60s slim taper profile.
It is equipped with a 57 Classic pickup on the neck side and a 57 Classic Plus pickup on the bridge side.

Since the pickup covers were missing upon arrival, we have installed them here at our shop.
Additionally, the tuners (Grover Keystone), truss rod cover, control knobs, and strap pins (locking mechanism missing) have been replaced.

This guitar shows signs of use, including paint cracks along the binding, minor scratches, and some dullness in the finish; however, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has plenty of adjustment range in both directions.
The frets were lightly dressed after arrival, and with approximately 80% of the original material remaining, this is a guitar in excellent playing condition.

The original hard case is included.
