1980 Greco Super Power EG-450 MIJ Lawsuit Era w/ Gigbag
For sale is an instant classic! You MUST experience the POWER of this guitar! Guitars like this were the subject of a high profile lawsuit between Gibson and a multitude of Japanese guitar manufacturers. This guitar features the “Open Book” headstock design that was the subject of intense scrutiny during the trial. Nowadays, these guitars are highly sought after due to their high quality and limited availability, in the states.
This guitar has an attractive cherry sunburst top, paired with cream plastics, nickel hardware, and pearloid inlays. It’s neck has a profile similar to that of a 1960’s Gibson - It’s slim and fast.
Overall, it’s in very good condition. It has a repaired finish crack at the neck joint, and a changed tuning machine. There are a handful of light dings and dents around the body as shown. This would be a great guitar to bring out to a gig if you wanted to avoid putting miles on another precious instrument.
