Jerry Jones Guitars 2007 Electric Sitar with custom hard case - Black Crackle

The instrument is in near-new condition, never been gigged or indeed out of owner's studio. (The date of the instrument is assumed from the first two digits of the serial number.)

It's a solid body with six standard strings, and 10 sympathetic strings. Two pickups are under the six strings, and one under the sympathetic strings. Each pickup has a volume and tone control for precise control over the sound. (Note that the electronics cutout cover is a round plexiglas disk on this instrument. Some models were shipped with a squarish metal cover instead, but outside of that I think the models are identical.)

The original special tuning wrench for the sympathetic strings is included.

The professional hard case, made specifically for this instrument, is in excellent shape. It does have a few very minor scratches and scuffs on it from normal handling. The original key to the center latch lock is included.

It is currently in tune, but if you wish I can detune it to ship. The guitar itself weights about 7 lbs; the case about 17 lbs.

This may not be an instrument that you use on every track, but there's nothing that sounds (or looks) quite like it.
