Up for sale, a 2006 Fender American Double Fat Stratocaster HH in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Boasting an uncommon gloss custom color Shoreline Gold finish, this American Series Strat features a number of modern, player-friendly touches including a satin neck finish, 9 1/2“ fretboard radius on the slab 22-fret fingerboard, Schaller tuning machines, a two-point vibrato, S1 switching, a Bridge Tone knob, and an HH pickup complement.
Featuring the classic tonewood combination of an alder body, one-piece maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, this Strat has a clear, balanced natural acoustic quality. Pickups include a Sidewinder humbucker at the neck position and a Black Cobra humbucker at the bridge, each featuring four-conductor wiring with a traditional five-way pickup selector switch augmented by Fender's S1 system. Discreetly located on the Volume knob cap, engaging the S1 opens up three coil tapped pickup options, along with series/parallel options for the humbuckers, effectively doubling the available tones. This American Stratocaster HH weighs 8lbs, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
