Overview
G&L is the company Leo Fender founded after officially leaving Fender Musical Instruments.
The G&L ASAT Classic is a reinterpretation of the Telecaster design, with two G&L single coil pickups, string-through-body bridge design, Maple neck and fingerboard and either an Alder or Ash body (depending on the finish).
Between 1990 - 1991 a limited run of these instruments included Leo Fender's signature on the upper bout. They are worth slightly more than the instruments from 1992 onward.
