Buescher Aristocrat "Big B" 1946 Tenor Saxophone

Buescher Aristocrat "Big B" tenor saxophone. Serial number 309128, so-called "small bell" version. The bell flare diameter is smaller compared to later Big B/156 tenors. A very nice player - big full warm sound, easy blowing, and can get very loud as well. I purchased this from a sax tech so it's in very good playing condition. Has the original snap-in resonators. Presumed original finish due to very sharp engraving details. This horn is used and has signs of wear including but not limited to scratches, dings, pitting, scuffs etc. - the sort of wear you might expect from a great playing horn! Comes in a ProTec XL case in great condition as pictured.
