This is an early 1970's Gibson RB-250 Banjo in exceptionally fine condition. We just acquired this from the original owner who originally bought it to learn how to play, but never did. It is almost like new, or 'New Old Stock' condition. There's no fret wear. This was made during the period when Gibson used a two-piece flange, and a 20-hole flathead tone ring. This Banjo weighs 10 pounds, 4.1 ounces and is very resonant. It comes in its original hardshell case and strap bought at the same time.
