*The Silvertone model # 319.12089 was manufactured by the Harmony Company in Chicago, Illinois, for Sears, Roebuck & Co. around 1969. The 319 prefix in the model number designates it as a Harmony-made instrument, often appearing as a parlor or acoustic model in the late 1960s. Details of the Silvertone 319.12089:

  • Manufacturer: Harmony
  • Date: Circa 1969
  • Model/Type: Parlor/Acoustic (frequently recognized as a 319 series acoustic model, like the 319.12089 or similar parlor types)
  • Origin: Made in the USA (Chicago)

These guitars were popular, inexpensive models sold in Sears catalogs toward the end of the Silvertone brand's primary era, before manufacturing moved heavily to Japan.

This guitar is over 50 years old it has chips, scuffs, cracks, rust, and needs proper adjustment but has a deep mellow sound and patina...ah yes.

Comes with new set light guage Darco-Martin strings and a nice roadrunner padded guitar bag.

I bought this 2nd hand from estate sale and you will notice on the trapeze string guide "Tyrus Guitar" written in.

Thank you for your interest and offers!
