Riffraff Amps 57 Tweed deluxe 5e3 2026 - Distressed Tweed

This is a premium hand wired amplifier that focuses on a refined version of the classic 57 Tweed Deluxe (5E3), tailored to provide greater touch sensitivity and a more articulate response with a tighter bottom end . This amp has a very wide sound stage and an incredible bloom that is so well received in these builds.

All components are carefully selected for there tonal qualities plus durability which gives this amp it’s ability to dial in very easily. We use Jupiter, F&T and Solen capacitors, Cts pots, Vishay metal wound resistors, Switchcraft etc.. This amp has big Mercury Magnetics transformers that will allow you to use your typical 6V6 power tubes to running 6L6s with its fixed bias. Just switch out the rectifier tube and power tubes thus turning a great amp into a very gutsy tweed with lots of powerful tone.
I installed a passive attenuator between the amp and speaker so you can get the pushed tube tones at lower volumes. New finger jointed pine heavy relic lacquered tweed cabinet that gives it the appearance of many of long nights on the road.The amp comes with a high sensitivity Celestion Blue speaker to complement the amps great tone tightening the bottom and enhancing the mids and letting the highs ring . This amp comes with JJs 5881s or Tung -Sol 6V6Gs matched power tubes and along with JJ 5y3s or a Gz34 to complement the 5881 (6L6’s)
