1985 USA Kramer Baretta. The Body is made of 2 piece poplar. Has Recessed tremolo cover plate. This rare guitar was customized by Paul Unkert in 1987. For those that aren't aware, Paul made the guitar Edward Van Halen played in the popular Van Halen Hot For Teacher video. You will notice many similarities to the stripe job painted on this one. It has the original MJ Seymour Duncan 16.78k directly to the body and early prototype Floyd Rose locking nut. New Ernie Ball 9-42 G strings, Includes the original 1985 Floyd Rose tremolo system w/42mm steel sustain block. The Floyd is made in Germany. Roughly 7 guitars were customized and EVH striped by Paul during this period before Eddie kindly asked Paul to stop doing them. The neck is 1 3/4 wide at the nut. 14 inch radius and a very slim "D" profile. These are some of the same mods that Edward liked on his custom Kramers and Charvels.Comes with original Kramer hardshell case. No low balling, the price of this guitar is set. This is a guitar you will not find again. Attatched in the photos is the original text from Paul Unkert confirming the authenticity of the guitar. The neck pocket is also dated, shown in photo. Do not wait, once it’s gone, it‘s gone.
