For sale: arpeggione.
Six strings, 600 mm scale length, 24 frets. Fingerboard and tailpiece are made of wenge; neck and body are maple; the top is European spruce. Finish: shellac (French polish).
There is an adjustment bolt in the neck heel that allows you to regulate the string height. The neck can also be easily removed for maintenance, repair, or transportation.
Strung with a cello string set plus gut 1st and 2nd strings.
An excellent instrument with a strong, powerful sound — deep in the low register and bright in the upper register.
I built two identical twin arpeggiones at the same time: one I will keep a guitar show, and the other is for sale (in the video, it is the arpeggione on the right).
The instrument comes with a soft cello case and a 3/4 cello bow.
For shipping, I will make a secure plywood crate.
