The Eastman AR403CED delivers a fully hollow 16” archtop instrument, but with the advantages of Venetian cutaway, thinner body (just over 2.5”), and upscale aesthetics. Two top-mounted Kent Armstrong HPAG-1N humbucking pickups deliver warmth and clarity with low-noise performance.
The AR403’s laminated maple top, back and thinner sides offer pure, warm, vintage tone with articulate mids and minimal feedback. The cutaway gives you easy access to higher notes and chord voicings.
A 3-piece maple neck features a bound rosewood fretboard to match the guitar’s rosewood pickguard and tailpiece. Chrome metal parts and multi-ply ivoroid binding (and bound f-holes) let the AR403 stand out as a classy and classic jazz performer. It would be hard to find a better value in a brand-new, well-appointed archtop instrument.
