This is really Cool. You are looking at a 1996 Yamaha AEX1500 Archtop Hollowbody Jazz Guitar. The "Real Deal" Made In Japan Yamaha Jazz Box. The former owner did a bunch of upgrades. This is a "Pro Level" Jazz Guitar. The former owner was a Pro-Level Jazz guitarist who was a member of Dean Martin's variety show band which played with the "Golddiggers" singing group on his show from 1968 to 1974.
This is a One Of A Kind Guitar. The Former owner upgraded the complete electronics. He also added a pickup. The Neck pickup is a Kent Armstrong Pisano. The Bridge pickup is a vintage Guild pickup. (See pictures #13-#14). He replaced the complete electronics. I'm talking everything, pickups, wiring and pots. There are hard plastic covers where the electronics and the tuner was. (See pictures #16-#17). The tailpiece has been changed to a Fine tuning trapeze. The bracket for the pickguard has been changed and there are a couple of mounting holes still visible. (See picture #18). The guitar plays, sounds and looks great.

Cosmetics: Excellent Condition. Some light strumming scratches on the pickguard. Both Top and Back are very clean. Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock in great shape. The truss rod cover was taken off in order to install the string dampener. There are some filled in holes where it was located. (See picture #8, #10).
Overall, a very nice Jazz Box in Excellent Condition that is "Dripping with "Mojo".
