This 1998 Westerly built Guild DV52 is in absolutely awesome condition. There is a very small ding on the side of the headstock by the low E tuning peg that I cannot capture in a picture. Otherwise the guitar is pristine. I am not a gigging musician so this instrument has never left my smoke free humidity controlled home in the 25 years that I have owned it. The top is AA Sitka spruce with the back and sides being solid rosewood. Mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and bridge. The DV series have long been discontinued. They were designed with scalloped X bracing and mahogany neck and end blocks to provide strength and lightweight while projecting true vintage sound. DV= dreadnaught vintage. The headstock sports Grover tuning machines and a Guild Chesterfield motif. The original hard shell case is in as new condition. I am moving to a OO sized guitar so this beauty has to go to a new home to make room. This is an awesome instrument. Whoever buys it will not be disappointed.
