This 1933 Gibson L-00 model was a budget model & is probably the 1 of most beautiful 100% original example extent. It’s got Gibson’s famous small amber centered 2-tone Sunburst finish over a delightful Spruce top w/mahogany back & sides. Its on-fire Fire Stripe’gard w/its white bound top against the Sunburst is what dreams are made of. It’s all original from its black button open back tuners (now re-united & installed) to its dot inlaid rosewood fingerboard w/its 1 year only raised fingerboard end where it meets the spruce top. bridge including all 6 black bridge pins & strap button. This L-00 is featherweight w/a killer comfortable V-shaped neck. It’s got Gibson’s white stenciled logo. It’s stamped inside on its heel # 633. No cracks nor much play time, this is the quintessential example to own for the perfectionist. It’s a true Closet Classic an Untouched 14 fret model w/a rich and balanced sound for which these small pre-war Gibsons are noted. It’s a great player with low action.
