1965 Vintage Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird in stunning sunburst

Rare 1965 vintage Gibson Firebird III Non-Reverse. This short-run model was produced for only a few years and features three P-90 pickups, solid one-piece Mahogany body, one-piece Mahogany neck and slab-like Rosewood fingerboard.

This axe is a beast and looks, sounds and plays A-MAZING with the distinctive three original P90’s delivering a crispness, chime and presence that is unique to this guitars vintage, shape and set up. The combination delivers noticeably more sonic depth than single-coils and is more vibrant and detailed than full-size humbuckers.

In addition to being a collectors piece, this guitar shreds and has been lovingly restored to player grade with a new refret, new Kluson tuners, new bridge piece, new pots and a period correct new pickguard. The original Klusons, bridge, pots and pickguard come with the guitar.
