This was my mother‘s accordion when she was a child in the 1940’s, and it has been stored in the original case since 1954, and has not been removed or used since that time until tested recently (plays wonderfully).
The model is a beautiful vintage Italian Iorio Candido, which was imported and branded for the New York market. It's a verifiable post-war instrument that has been exceptionally well cared for and stored properly.
-Late 1940's/early 1950's model
-Stored in its original wooden hard case since approximately 1954
-Plays perfectly; all keys, reeds, and switches function properly
-Tight, responsive bellows
-Four treble switches: Master / Bassoon / Violin / Band
-Original pearloid finish, grille badge, and hardware
-Clean keyboard; no sticking keys or dead notes
-Includes original hard case with red velvet lining
It is a suitable for an accordion player or vintage instrument collector, and no restoration is needed. Accordion will be carefully packed inside the case, then boxed and insured for shipping. Flat-rate insured ground shipping via FedEx.
