BC Audio Amplifier No. 7 Head - fat octal-tube goodness!

I'm selling one BC Audio Amplifier No7 head in red tolex with white racing strip, in excellent condition.

Those who know these amps are aware that Bruce Clement's point-to-point wiring (with some terminal strip support) is among the most artful in the business, employing top-notch components. It all pays out in the sonic results, with a thick yet clear, rich, and dynamic tone that runs between tweed and Marshall and plenty of something all its own depending on where you set the three simple controls.

This one is loaded with Tung-Sol 5881 tubes (and of course the fat-sounding 6SL7 octal preamp tubes BC is famous for using) and a 5AR4 rectifier for 25 watts, but you can pop in dual 6V6s and a 5Y3 to drop it to 15 watts without any need to rebias. As such, it's a head that will suit just about any gig - and which takes pedals extremely well to boot - yet it only weighs 17 lbs.
