A Special model, believed to be made in 1994 based on its serial number and marked “Made in USA,” has arrived.

This newly arrived Special features a flat-top double cutaway body design, a model highly prized among enthusiasts alongside the Standard and Studio.

It features a rare quilted maple top—a material increasingly difficult to find in usable condition these days—paired with a premium solid mahogany back.

The neck is a classic, tried-and-true combination: a three-piece mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard.

It's equipped with a Seymour Duncan 59 Model and JB Model pickup combination, delivering both punchy tone when distorted and sparkling clean sound.

As a used item, it shows signs of wear including scratches, dents, and some paint chipping on the neck side, but these do not significantly detract from its appearance.

The frets have approximately 1.1mm of life remaining. The truss rod is barely tightened, allowing for further adjustment.

The strap pins appear to have been replaced with Jim Dunlop ones.

A hard case is included.
