vintage 1959 era Gibson EM-200 Florentine Electric Mandolin
sunburst finish
solid body
frets and neck are in good condition
neck is dead straight
action is low and easy to play
the mandolin is still as I got it. It has old strings on it now but I will clean the fingerboard, polish the frets and put on fresh strings if you request at no charge
I cleaned the poits and jack and the electronics all work just as they should. the Mando P90 is super hot and nasty!!! sounds like and angry LP junior but its a mandolin, you could tone down your amp and get a nice clean sound too. it sounds great and I couldn't resist cranking my amp up and hearing it take off .
original untouched electronics. I did not want to disturb the pots to check the codes so I cannot get exact date on this but this had late 50's knobs and poink lining in the case so its definately between 1956 and 1960. very rare mandolin and it plays and sounds great.
I cannot find any others for sale on reverb
the case has some weird hole in it as shown. otherwise the case all works great
as far as I can tell the only non original part is the screw holding the tailpiece on
