This is a REAL ESP Horizon made in 2012. None of this E-II crap or LTD stuff. This is the REAL deal, built in Japan where ESP first began and where all their best guitars came out of.

Sadly, in 2013 they discontinued this line and started making the E-II versions. Why? Because in my opinion, it was making their American custom shop guitars look bad as many still preferred these guitars over them making it difficult for ESP to justify their insane custom shop prices. That is my theory anyways. Some people swear up and down that there is no difference however, I strongly disagree. Just because the differences weren't sent to the Google, doesn't mean they don't exist. It appears to me that it's obvious they are now different guitars.
Speaking of, I sent it to The 12th fret in Toronto Ontario to touch up the frets and do a setup 3 years ago. When the master luthier there saw this guitar, his eyes lit up and agreed that they blow away the E-IIs and the LTDs. Some even prefer these over the American M1 versions but regardless, it's a beautiful guitar! With ROCK SOLID tuning!!

I would tune it at home before the show, it would be in tune during soundcheck, in tune during the first set, in tune again during the second set, then in tune once again the next day when I would practice at home!
