As far as we know, this is the only black American flag Gibson Les Paul Billie ever used, making this one legendary piece of equipment!The black American flag aesthetic is one of Green Day's most iconic images. It became synonymous with the band to some degree. This guitar is perhaps the best iteration of that imagery!The guitar shows heavy signs of tour use: dings, dents, scratches, etc. It even has a note attached to the headstock indicating for the guitar tech which tuning this guitar was to be in (e-flat). It's amazing to see all of the wear and direct evidence of tour use on the guitar, placed there by a legend. There's even still small spit marks from Billie :D The guitar also retains its original strings.Included with the guitar is the Gibson hardshell case, and a certificate of authenticity signed by Billie Joe himself.
