Here's an original 1969 Fender Vibrolux Reverb amp in nice condition. Not a reissue! The "drip edge" aluminum frame around the front was only used for about a year starting in late-1967, so this is likely one of the final drip edge models.

Overall very good condition. Normal cosmetic wear from use through the years, as you might expect. The all tube, mid wattage, and 2x10 combo format make this a perfect amp for a lot of applications. A touch more clean headroom than a Deluxe, with more "open" and less boxy sound. Probably my favorite classic era Fender amp.

This one has a newer power transformer. Caps updated with Spragues. New 3 prong grounded power cable. A newer footswitch for the vibrato/Reverb. A few screws are newer. The original speakers are long gone, but nice quality Warehouse speakers are in place and sound great. (You can still find original late-60's Oxfords for a reasonable price, but these Warehouse speakers sound better).

• 1969 date stamp inside chassis - ends in 0469, likely indicating 4th week of 1969
• Choke code 606825 (25th week of 1968)
• Output transformer code 606822 (22nd week of 1968)
• Reverb transformer code 606842 (42nd week of 1968)
• The pots are original and date to 1968 as well.
