Hand-wired clone of a vintage Seamoon Fresh Fuzz, one of the first ever opamp fuzz pedals. It sounds somewhere between a Maestro Fuzz Tone and a Big Muff, but is its own thing.

This is the 1974 version of the circuit, which uses a JRC4558 opamp (of Tube Screamer fame) for more max gain than the original 1973 version. I also swapped the volume pot value for more reasonable output levels (on the original, unity gain is about 8 o'clock, and everything past that will bow out your speakers; now it reacts more like a modern volume control).

Controls: Gain (Volume), Bite (Fuzz and Brightness)

Features

  • Top-mounted jacks to save pedalboard space
  • Premium brown sparkle metallic powder coat finish
  • Retro aluminum dial knobs
  • True bypass switching with status LED
  • High quality switches, jacks and components
  • Runs on standard 9V DC power supply (no batteries)
