Description: For sale is a stunning 2004 Gibson Explorer '76 Reissue in the beautiful Mahogany Natural finish. Unlike painted models, this Natural finish showcases the gorgeous grain of the solid mahogany body. Crafted at the Nashville Plant, USA, in 2004—a period known for using high-quality tonewoods—this guitar has aged for 20 years, resulting in a resonant and responsive instrument that surpasses many modern productions.
Luthier's Insight & Setup: As a professional guitar technician, I have meticulously inspected and set up this guitar to ensure it's in top playing condition:
- Neck: Straight and stable. The truss rod is fully functional with plenty of room for adjustment.
- Frets: Approximately 80% life remaining. They have been professionally cleaned and polished, offering smooth playability across the entire fretboard.
- No Structural Repairs: I have confirmed there are NO headstock cracks or neck repairs. This is a solid, structurally sound instrument you can rely on.
- Tone: The solid mahogany construction provides a thick, warm midrange with excellent sustain. Combined with the original high-output humbuckers, it delivers a powerful and punchy sound.
