We’re proud to offer this brand new Divided by 13 JRT 9/15 amplifier head, finished in classic fawn with an ivory “V”. Built for players who crave expressive low-watt tone with serious character, the JRT 9/15 blends vintage American warmth and British chime into one incredibly flexible design.
At the heart of the amp are two parallel, dual-voiced preamp circuits, each driven by a 5879 pentode and controlled by its own independent volume. One side delivers enhanced top-end clarity with later breakup, while the other emphasizes lower mids with earlier saturation for a thicker, more compressed feel. Run them individually or blend both to dial in everything from articulate cleans to harmonically rich overdrive.
A six-position tone control lets you fine-tune body and texture, while the hi-cut control smooths out the upper frequencies without sacrificing presence or definition. The result is a remarkably touch-sensitive amp that responds beautifully to picking dynamics and guitar volume changes.
One of the JRT 9/15’s standout features is its switchable power section. Choose 9 watts via 6V6 tubes in Class A for warm, rounded, vintage-style American tones, or flip to 15 watts with EL84s in Class AB for a brighter, more complex voice with that unmistakable British edge. This flexibility makes the JRT 9/15 equally at home in the studio, on small stages, or anywhere you need big tone at manageable volume.
