SUPER RARE! Nails the Fender-era John Mayer tone - it doesn‘t get any getter than these!
These are the golden goose when it comes to pickups. The CS 60’s are not only some of the highest regarded pickups Fender has ever produced, but this particular set is wound by the one and only, Abigail Ybarra. “Abby“ requires no introduction to the guitar and pickup world and she’s known for winding some of the best pickups ever produced such as those used by Jimi Hendrix, SRV, and John Mayer. John Mayer’s The Black One" Strat is modeled after a 1960s Strat, which used 1960s hand-wound pickups from the Fender Custom Shop. Many pickup experts believe these are the same pickups John used in the “Black One”.
These are real vintage specs with no reverse wound/reverse polarity middle pickups. They’re historically correct like the original Pre-CBS.
Black Bottom ABBYs without RWRP are extremely hard to find!
This specific set came from a Masterbuilt and was wound by Abby in her last year ever before she retired in May 2013, so these may be some of the last wound by the Fender pickup guru of over 50 years! Super rare and perfect for major collectors!

- Pickups mounted on 11-hole (60-62) 3-ply green ivory vintage pickguard with aluminum shield.
- Complete top-quality wiring harness:
- CTS 250k potentiometers
- Complete 7-wire waxed cotton Luxe wiring harness (identical to the pre-CBS original).
- Pickup covers, tip switches, screws, and knobs are included.
These are a perfectly balanced set of lower-wound pickups that all read around 7s. Ready to directly drop in your favorite Strat!
