The rarest & most desirable Fender Amplifiers were their Tweed & Brown Tolex era models. This is 1 of the rarest ever produced. This 1960 Bandmaster Amp was then, a 1 piece combo w/a factory 3 x 10" speaker setup only used for a few years. This was their earliest Brown Tolex covered period w/an an early Oxblood Red grill cloth. Inside its factory label is stamped w/a "JJ" code stating it was produced in October 1960. Its Brown face panel has its original Brown knobs w/a matching back panel & are quite clean. It's got a very early stamped serial of # 01488. Its 3 speakers are replaced w/a fabulous set of 3x10" vintage type 1 Legend brand & 2 having stickers w/out a name. Overall she's got some edginess w/nicks in the tolex but overall she's still quite excellent. Her sound is amazing !! Grab it if you can.
