Offering a vintage 1960's RHEEM D-842 Dual Hi-Z/Low-Z Dynamic Microphone, working with cable and desk stand. These days, Rheem is a global leader in heating, cooling and water-heating products, but in the 60's they produced a host of microphones and tape recording gear. This model is an impressively well-designed and engineered microphone. Lots of black and satin stainless steel in a robust heavy-gauge casing / support yoke, which allows the mic head to pivot both vertically and horizontally. Physically it shows only mild signs of use and wear.

The original dynamic element can be switched between low-z and hi-z via the frontal slide switch, right next to the on-off switch. A rotary dial on the back provides bass roll-off options, "Flat", "-5db" and "-10db". A new pigtail cable has been hardwired to the pistol grip with 1 male XLR plug. (We can swap for a 1/4" phono plug if you prefer.) Testing provides nice full-bodied audio with strong output. A professional wooden box is included, but the desk stand is NOT included, shown for display purposes only. ** Always safe, fast fair shipping, plus we offer combined shipping when making multiple purchases.**
