Adams E2 Gold Brass 2023 - Brushed Gold Lacquer

Adams E2 Euphonium custom ordered in 2022 and delivered in early 2023. Body is made of Gold Brass with a 0.80 bore size. Finish is the brushed gold lacquer with ornate Adams engraving. Valve caps are custom wooden ones. I also had them add “shiny” gold accents inside the bell and on the valve/tubing areas. This euphonium is a stunner in terms of looks and sound! I am the first and only owner.

This has been my main horn for the past two years and I played it nearly everyday- so expect some wear but nothing glaring. Two tiny ”dings” are in the bell and when I first got the horn i didn’t realize my wedding ring was scratching the 3rd valve tubing (see photos). The slides also possess some wear on the inside but have gotten better with time. This horn is still in its “break in” period based on Adams own recommendations. I oil the valves every time I play it, another Adams recommendation for the first 3 years of the horn.

I will be shipping it with Mead Custom springs that are the original tension (I tried light but felt these had the right bounce). I will also include the original springs. Comes in its Marcus Bonna case with no mouthpiece. I will be posting various mouthpieces for sale so if you’re looking for a specific one or curious what I paired with it- let me know.
