Ludwig - 1971 Psychedelic Rd 5x14" Jazz Festival Snare Drum, (DF2 L #2)
The 1971 Ludwig Jazz Festiva 5x14" 8-lug snare drum in Psychedelic Red finish is one of the rarest and most sought after drums that the Ludwig Drum Company ever produced. Available for only a few years in the late 60s-early 70s. Extremely few were ever made and far fewer remain in this unfaded condition.
All the original colors are extremely strong with almost no fading at all. There are some extremely minor scuffs in the finish with one notable spot that appears to have been polished down into the white base layer (see pics). The chrome hardware shows some minor scuffs and scrapes.
The shell and edges are excellent.
