**Hello this is AT on your side. This is quite a rare synth, I think. I'd never seen one in person before. It's in excellent condition. The sound is clean and has that vintage synth character. I think it's still perfectly usable as an accent synth today. There are some minor scratches and yellowing on the keys, but I consider it very unusual for a Tesco to be preserved this well. The Tesco S-110F is an analog synthesizer manufactured in Japan during the late 1970s. Produced during a period when Tesco, known for guitars and Electones, was also focusing on synthesizers, it is recognized as one of the most distinctive Japanese analog synths. The S-110F features a core configuration centered around two analog oscillators, complemented by a noise source in addition to basic waveforms. This enables the creation of thick, gritty lead sounds and bass tones with real presence. Its resonant low-pass filter, combined with the envelope and LFO, allows for the enjoyment of dynamic, analog-style sound changes. Its 37-key keyboard is compact, but this makes it highly portable and allows for focused playing and sound design. It also includes features expected of serious analog synths of the era, like portamento and sample & hold, positioning it not just as a basic model but as capable of experimental sound design. Sonically, it leans more towards a raw, unpolished analog character than a refined modern sound, possessing a distinctive vintage presence. Consequently, it is highly regarded by players seeking classic synth sounds, as well as within the realms of retro electronic music and experimental music. Production ceased many years ago, making it relatively rare on the used market today. Nevertheless, it maintains a steady following as one of Japan's vintage synthesizers. This synthesizer is in very good condition, with some signs of use and age (please see pictures), including some minor scratches and coloration.The unit has been thoroughly tested by our professional technician and works perfectly.
