This brand new solid-body Lumière T is a striking example of why players like Jim Campilongo gravitate toward Rafa’s work. Built entirely by hand in Buenos Aires, it captures Lumière’s hallmark blend of touch sensitivity, musical responsiveness, and an unmistakable boutique character. Where their semi-hollow builds bring air and bloom, this solid-body version delivers focus and immediacy, with a clarity and dynamic range that feel deeply connected to the player.

The two-piece Spanish Cedar body is lightweight, resonant, and alive in the hands, enhanced by a beautifully executed White-Blonde nitro finish that settles naturally into the grain. Lumière’s craftsmanship shows in the details, the crisp lines of the parchment guard, the effortless balance on a strap, and the way the wood seems to “speak” even before the first note rings out.

The neck is classic Lumière: Yellow Pine aged over a century, chosen for its quick response and subtly elastic feel. Carved to the brand’s most popular Medium Soft V-C profile, it sits comfortably with dimensions of .85 to .97 and plays with a fluid, expressive ease. Combined with a 9.5” radius, 6105 frets, and Lumière’s signature 25.25” scale length, the instrument has that slightly slinky tension and wide dynamic response that Campilongo is known for exploiting snappy when pushed, supple when played lightly, always effortlessly musical.

A matched set of Lumiére A3 pickups rounds out the voice. The neck pickup is warm, articulate, and open, while the A3 bridge delivers the sparkle, bite, and elasticity expected from a great Tele style instrument. Together with the responsive cedar body and pine neck, the guitar offers a wide tonal palette that rewards nuance, phrasing, and touch. (This is the same bridge pickup that Jim Campilongo is using in his signature model) The only difference is that we have A3 in the neck as well instead of Lumiére Mini-HB)

At just over seven pounds, it feels incredibly comfortable and stage-ready, and it comes housed in a custom hardshell case.
