1985 Squier by Fender Stratocaster – Made in Japan (A-Serial, Fujigen

Alright, pull up a chair — Uncle Jerry’s got another one fresh off the bench. This here is a 1985 MIJ Squier Strat, A-serial from the legendary Fujigen factory. Back in the mid-’80s, Japan was building Strats so good they made the big-brand stuff sweat a little, and this one proves the point.

Neck feels smooth and broken-in the right way — not relic’d, just… played like a guitar should be. The pickups give you that classic Strat chime that makes you accidentally start playing “Little Wing,” even if you promised you’d stop doing that at parties.

Condition:

Used, with the sort of “yeah I’ve been places” marks that only guitars and drummers seem to collect. Light dings, finish wear, little scuffs — all the personality, none of the drama.
