This listing is for a very cool and rare Vintage 1950's Gibson Les Paul Guitar Case. This case would have come with a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Standard Electric Guitar made between 1952 and 1954. The case has 4 latches and a flat (not arched) top. These case were only made by Lifton for Gibson for a few years. Later versions had the arched top and then 5 latches. 

The case has the brown exterior with the lighter pink interior. The case is in good functional condition but is old and shows wear. The handle is original and all the latches are intact and working. The is some heavy wear around the edges and some minor separation that has been glued up. The pink interior has faded over time but is clean and in very good overall condition. 

These early 1950's Gibson Les Paul cases are quite hard to find and significantly increase the value of an original 1952-1954 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop.
